Connectivity / Anonymised project outline
ISP and connectivity strategy for moving a multi-site organisation from MPLS towards SD-WAN.
Problem
A multi-site organisation needed to reconsider its ISP strategy and modernise connectivity without introducing avoidable transition risk.
Approach
Develop the target architecture, resilience principles, operational ownership and a migration approach that accounts for site dependencies.
My contribution: I contribute technical advice on ISP strategy, target architecture, resilience and migration planning; implementation responsibilities depend on the organisation and its suppliers.
Outcome
A clear network strategy and a workable basis for planning a controlled transition from MPLS to SD-WAN.
This outline excludes organisation names, locations, addresses, credentials, topology, internal hostnames and identifying system detail. The scope of my contribution is stated separately where delivery may involve a wider team or specialist partner.
